This fall, our ITEC shows will focus on the changes impacting the IT space. We've done a lot of changing, ourselves, on the way to these events. Highlights of these changes include a focus on meeting your local technology leaders, education about emerging technologies, and a vision of what you can do next to implement.
There are seven major themes of the fall ITEC events:
- Security
- Virtualization and Data Center Technology
- Cloud Computing (see the next article for more on that)
- Unified Communications and VoIP
- Enterprise and Social Media Software
- The Consumerization of IT
- The Next Workplace and Green IT
We're working with our speakers to ensure that they deliver five good takeaways for every educational session, so that you know what comes next, and how to prepare. Our efforts to find the best representatives of these upcoming technologies are bringing even more interesting vendors and speakers to ITEC. And we're excited to see some great names pre-registering the some of the fall shows.
As well as your local leaders and speakers, you'll get to meet some industry analysts and executives, including Tony Huang, Founder and CEO of TechExecs, James Gaskin, Author and Columnist, and me, Chris Brogan from CrossTech Media. We're looking to talk about the future trends and give you some ideas on the changes facing the space.
